Finding homes for our retired racers

Greyhounds in retirement

Contrary to common belief greyhounds make easy pets. They're happy with a couple of 20 minute walks each day and generally easy going around the house. We've listed some of ex-athletes that are ready for a well earned retirement home.

Summer is just under four years old, a beautiful brindle and a bit smaller being a girl. She's a little reserved at first, but when she gets to know you is friendly and interested in what is going on. We've taken her out for test walks in the countryside and she's settled straight into it, even tackling kissing gates at the first time of asking. She's probably best suited to a slightly quieter life, so a home without children might be best, but other dogs should be fine.

Dougie has just turned four, a lovely black dog with a little white chest and tail tip. He's a super calm dog, very good on the lead and generally very laid back.
